Your Virtual Clinical Experience Journey
This module takes you through a structured virtual clinical experience starting with an introduction to US healthcare systems and hospital workflow. You will progress into case-based learning, live interactions with US physicians, and EMR documentation training to build practical clinical skills. Throughout the program, you will develop clinical reasoning, patient management skills, and receive continuous feedback to improve performance. The module also prepares you to translate your virtual clinical exposure into a stronger US residency application profile.

How This Strengthens Your Residency Application
Tele-rotations help candidates strengthen their residency applications by gaining familiarity with US medical practices, building professional networks, and, where applicable, earning performance-based Letters of Recommendation (LORs). They also offer flexibility, enabling IMGs to continue their preparation and profile-building while awaiting visa approvals or planning their transition to the United States.
Experience in US Healthcare Virtually
Supervised telehealth encounters - not simulations
Available specialties
Weekly case presentations
Structured case logs
Performance-based US Letter of Recommendation
Flexible scheduling - run alongside USMLE prep
You observe and participate in actual patient encounters alongside your supervising US physician. Real cases, real clinical reasoning, real feedback – not scripted role-plays.
Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery, Pathology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Internal Medicine, Preventative & Wellness Medicine, Psychiatry, Neurology, Radiology and OBG – matched to your target specialty where possible.
Every week you formally present cases to your supervising doctor. This is where clinical communication skills are built – by doing it, not by watching.
You maintain a detailed log of every case across the rotation. Many residency programmes ask for these – having them ready and verified matters.
The LOR comes from the US physician who worked with you throughout. Based on your actual performance – not a template. LOR quality matches in-person rotations.
Sessions run 3-4 days per week, evenings. Most students run this alongside Step 2 CK preparation without conflict. 4-week, 8-week and 12-week options available.

Who Should Enroll?
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Based on physician feedback, LOR detail and quality are equivalent to in-person rotations. Program directors cannot distinguish the source – what matters is the quality of the supervising physician’s letter.
Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Neurology, Cardiology, Radiology, Surgery, OBG and Other specialties based on availability. We match you to your target specialty where available.
EMR training is flexible and can be completed alongside your USMLE preparation. It enhances your clinical documentation skills, complements your medical knowledge, and prepares you for U.S. clinical rotations and residency without interfering with your exam preparation.
Telemedicine rotations provide documented US clinical exposure and a US LOR – both of which strengthen your application. While they are not equivalent to in-person USCE, they are a recognised and increasingly accepted form of clinical engagement, particularly for pre-visa preparation.
Through a supervised tele-medicine rotation with a US physician. After 4 weeks of real clinical engagement – telehealth encounters, case presentations and structured case logs – your supervising doctor writes a performance-based LOR. This is one of the most practical ways to build a US LOR before travelling.
